|Deborah Edwards, Soprano, received the ALCM diploma in singing at the age of 16. She also plays clarinet and saxophone, and has performed regularly with The Suffolk Concert Band. She has appeared as soprano soloist in oratorio with choral societies in Ipswich and Hadleigh and has taken part in numerous concerts and festivals. In 2007, she performed the role of Mercedes in Carmen with Suffolk Opera.In 2009 she played the role of First Lady in The Magic Flute with Commedia Productions. She has taken part in an international summer school for solo singers for the last five years, singing art song, opera and cabaret. |
|Barbara Windsor, Mezzo Soprano, has been singing for over 30 years, and studied with the late Helga Mott opera singer Rae Woodland and Stephen Varcoe. She was accepted for two consecutive years at the School for Advanced Musical Studies at Snape, participating in masterclasses with Sir Peter Pears and John Shirley-Quirk and has also taken part in public masterclasses with Elizabeth Harwood. Her career has spanned opera and recitals, and all the major oratorio works, singing with choral societies in the UK and abroad. Recent solo performances include the Dream of Gerontius, Sea Pictures, Carmen, and The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins. She has a large private teaching practice, is a member of the Association of Singing Teachers and works with business executives, coaching presentation skills.|
|Julian Ochwat, Tenor, was born in England to a Polish father and English mother. He has been singing for 6 years with a leaning towards operatic repertoire. He has had principal roles as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto with West London Opera and Araquil in Massenets La navarraise which was under the musical direction of Mary Hill. His most recent roles were that of Don Jose in Carmen and as Rodolfo in La Boheme both with Suffolk Opera. He is regularly in demand on the concert platform.|
|Gary Griffiths, Baritone, has appeared in La Boheme and Carmen with Suffolk Opera and sings regularly in recital and with choirs in Essex, Suffolk and North London. He is also a member of the Chorus of the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. In May he will sing the role of Dr Daly in Gilbert and Sullivanís The Sorcerer with Trinity Methodist Players in Chelmsford. Gary lives in Harwich, Essex with his wife and young son.
